Julie Lee
Julie Lee is a Professor and Director of Research and Research Training at the University of Western Australia Business School. She is also Founding Director of the UWA Centre for Human and Cultural Values.
Julie’s research focuses on personal and cross-cultural values, including the theory, measurement, and application of values regarding behavior. She explores how values are expressed both individually and in society, and the complex relations between the two. She has published on these topics in journals such as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, European Journal of Personality, and Sustainability Science

Hester van Herk
Hester van Herk is an interdisciplinary researcher and professor of Cross-cultural Marketing Research at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Hester’s research focuses on antecedents and consequences of human values on behavior in developed and emerging markets and on developing research methodology that provides insight into differences and similarities between survey responses from different countries or cultures. She has published on these topics in journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Journal of International Marketing, among others.
